How you’ll spend your day
Responsible for performing write-off and variance analysis including verification, approval, consolidation and reporting for both
Responsible for performing a review and analysis of purchase orders and plant’s spend including preparing correction journal entries
Responsible for assisting with preparation of quarterly forecast, annual budget and financial closings as needed
Responsible for participating in ad-hoc projects as needed
Responsible for completing all training requirements and maintaining 100% compliance with all assignments
Responsible for maintaining work areas and performing job functions in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with company policies and procedures, Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP’s), Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) and Batch Record instructions
Responsible for performing additional related duties as assigned
Your experience and qualifications
Bachelor's degree, preferably in accounting or finance
Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience, preferably in pharmaceutical manufacturing or a related industry
Experience working with Financial/GL Systems, preferably Oracle and/or SAP
Proficiency in Excel
Experience working in a manufacturing environment with working knowledge of variances, bill of materials, routers, write-offs, etc.
Experience in business modeling, financial analysis, and managerial analysis is preferred
Detail-oriented with the ability to analyze information and connect it to corresponding performance metrics
Self-directed with the ability to organize and prioritize work
Ability to work with ambiguity
Ability to effectively handle multiple competing priorities and manage deadlines under pressure
Communicate effectively with excellent written and oral communication skills
Interact positively and collaborate with co-workers, management, and external partners
Project management and advanced presentation skills are preferred
Strong problem-solving skills, proactive, and able to work independently
