Job Description
The Sr. Director, Head of US Specialty Insights will lead the Insight team supporting the Specialty Pharmaceuticals business within the US as part of the Global Insights & Analytics function. The position is responsible for catalyzing a performance-driven culture and developing a team of strategic, results-oriented, and collaborative business partners who identify opportunities and deliver actionable insight that drive competitive advantage for Teva. This position will report to the VP of Global Insights & Analytics within Global Marketing & Portfolio business unit.
The responsibilities of the Sr. Director, Head of US Specialty Insights will include the following:
Serve as a key strategic partner to US Commercial leadership through active involvement in strategy development, brand performance, and business planning. Ensure that insight plans, activities, and deliverables are aligned with leadership priorities and communicated appropriately.
As part of the Global Insight & Analytics Leadership Team, provide a clear vision, mission, and process for the Insight organization, as well as forward looking leadership to build best practice capabilities.
Partner with the Global and Regional Insight Teams to ensure alignment to Global strategies and to enable sharing of best practice and customer driven insights across the organization.
Partner with key analytics functional leads such as Forecasting, Analytics, Finance, and Sales Operations to build strong cross-functional Insight communities in support of organizational priorities. Insight communities should drive to integrated views of performance and aligned recommendations for actions to be taken to drive the business.
Deliver on the Global Insight & Analytics mission in support of the US Commercial team through leadership of direct and indirect reports working across primary and secondary market research, competitive intelligence, and market analytics with ties to forecasting. The team must function as strategic, results-oriented, and collaborative business partners who identify opportunities and deliver actionable insight that drive competitive advantage for Teva.
Lead, equip, and empower Insight teams to deliver:
Proactive partnering with commercial leads to understand business needs and drivers
Insight plans and budgets aligned to brand strategies and organizational priorities
High-impact, within budget projects/activities that drive decisions and sales performance
Customer based insights and analytics with actionable recommendations
Innovative approaches to insight creation and business analytics tools and techniques
Succinct market, brand, and project overviews for executive leadership
Insight communities in partnership with other key analytics groups
Qualifications
Education and Experience:
BA/BS required; advanced degree preferred
Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in strategic insights, market research, marketing, business analytics, forecasting, finance or a related field is required
People management experience is preferred
Broad and diverse therapeutic category experience desired
Mastery of analytical and market research concepts and frameworks
Knowledge of new product forecasting process and inputs are required
Business Skills:
Communication and presentation skills as evidenced through impactful senior management presentations, conference presentations, and/ or publications
Expert-level proficiency in Word, PowerPoint and Excel
Excellent problem-solving and analytic skills
Excellent written and communications skills (written, oral, and PowerPoint)
Strong organization skills and the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects
Strategic and critical thinking skills
