Purpose of the Position

Overall responsibility for managing the FM field in Debrecen and Sajóbábony sites, according to the work plan, while meeting cost reduction and service targets. Facility Manager will be responsible for managing all aspects of the facility management service delivery system; primarily asset management and operations including

  • responsibility for managing expense budgets,

  • short and long-term site FM projects,

  • operations and maintenance.

What this job involves

  • Strategic plan formulation and execution for the FM at site level (offices and manufacturing).

  • Managing the establishment of the ongoing activity of the FM in Debrecen and Sajóbábony sites.

  • Realization of the global policy and procedures of the FM on site level.

  • Provide timely reports to the site management and Cluster Facilities Manager.

  • Ensure vendor performance, manage and track the completion of the scheduled work (including but not limited to HVAC, plumbing, mechanical, lighting, electrical, computer and server room support, janitorial, confidential waste, mail room, general interior maintenance etc).

  • Ensure defined response times are met.

  • Conduct daily checklist (with onsite vendor staff), weekly, monthly and quarterly reviews with all vendors and outlining successes, areas for improvement, improvement plans, cost saving strategies and innovation ideas.

  • Assist Procurement Manager with all FM contract related sourcing activity as directed. Write thorough and valid scope of work (SOW) documents for FM services to be including in RFP documents.

  • Ensure accident or crises management is addressed immediately.

  • Act as a single point of contact for the designated facility for all FM escalations.

  • Ensure all reporting requirements, quality control, audit requirements, safety and statutory compliance are adhered to at all times. Work closely with the EHS Manager for the account to thoroughly understand and deploy environmental health and safety procedures related to facilities management on all sites.

  • Assist during audit process and provide audit reports with proper justification wherever required.

  • Oversee and manage operational budgets.

  • Ensure facility upkeep is maintained in all areas of operations as defined in the scope document.

  • Ensure vendor management & vendor performance management is done on monthly basis.

  • Ensure monthly invoicing is done on time as per agreed timelines and taken signoff from respective leads.

  • Ensure adherence to Teva Standard Operating Procedures.

Additional Duties & Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate leadership, innovation & responsiveness and creativity.

  • Understand the FM scope and in consultation with the Regional Facilities Manager – develop specific processes & procedures to reduce cost & improve client satisfaction.

  • Accomplish Key Performance Indicators as per Schedule A of the Master Service Agreement.

  • Develop & implement the facilities management account plan for the facility.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Experience

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in facility management in soft and hard services.

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience of outsourced facility contract management.

  • Experience managing projects and working in international companies.

  • Experience managing company general services in international companies.

  • Experience with manufacturing, R&D, and distribution operations preferred.

  • Well-developed leadership, management and team building skills.

Competences

  • Proficiency in English language. (speaking, reading and writing)

  • Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).

  • Familiar with Facilities Work Order systems.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, (preference given to those with a degree in Facility Management, Logistics, or Engineering);
