The opportunity

Teva IT Operations – Strategy & Operational Excellence team is looking for a seasoned program manager to lead a large-scale transformation program spanning across applications and infrastructure teams. The key focus of this role in the transformation will be in the infrastructure space specifically on Data Centre Strategy, DC consolidation/DC exits, and cloud migration. The role expects to have clear understanding of the datacentre operations, costs parameters and should have managed datacentre projects like consolidation, exits and implementing a cloud strategy for a current on-prem establishment. Successful candidate will be well versed with project management methodologies & frameworks, governance models.

How you’ll spend your day

Responsible for developing, establishing, and implementing plan and governance model for a large and complex infrastructure modernization.

Engage with facilities, business and IT leadership to align the plan for the coordinated program

Responsible of identifying the cost parameters and keep track of the budget for the program.

Responsible for planning the migration of current on prem to cloud which may include refactoring/re-platforming for applications and archival strategy.

Issue and manage a Request for Proposal and lead the IT leadership through the RFP lifecycle all the way to negotiating and signing contracts for a managed services model.

Establish success criteria for efficient data centre operations and be responsible for monitoring/report out the KPIs

Your experience and qualifications

Strong knowledge and hands on experience on data centre strategy and planning, data center operations, migration to cloud strategy.

Project Manager specialized in infrastructure operations including Data Center/Compute Management

Must have experience managing large managed services programs. Good understanding of data centre strategy

Good understanding of cloud and related cost optimization/management.

12 to 15 years’ experience in managing transformation initiatives involving people, process and technology elements.

Must have experience in pharma environments and GXP processes.

Must have hands on experience in end to end project management, tools and methodologies (including agile). PMP certified preffered.

Must have managed a budget of USD 1 Million and above, coordinated with resourcing with multiple vendors, price negotiations etc.

Must have prior experience in initiating and collaborate with third parties in RFI/RFP exercises, vendor evaluations and cost benefit analysis.

Must have extensive documenting discipline - from meeting minutes to a comprehensive project plan and budgeting.

Must have experience authoring SoWs, review and approval processes working with procurement.

Must have excellent communication and presentation skills

Must have experience managing executive leadership and communication

Excellent analytical skills and the ability to handle complex data.

Strong decision-making abilities and resilience, with the ability to operate in ambiguous situations and maintain momentum while driving for results.

Having robust verbal and written communication abilities, a problem-solving mindset, and the capacity to build relationships are crucial qualities for success in this role.

MSc/B.Tech. /B.E. (Computer Science/IT).

Certifications like ITIL, PMP, Prince2 will be of an added advantage.

Experience with life sciences industry and compliance standards/regulations.
