The Opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity for a VP – Global Head of OTC Consumer Healthcare. The person holding this position will report to the SVP, Head of Generics Europe and be accountable for Teva’s OTC business markets with revenue of USD1 Billion
This position will have the following direct reports:
Global OTC Sales
Global OTC Commercial Development
Global OTC Marketing & Sudocrem
You will hold key relationships with the:
European Commercial Leadership Team
IM Leadership Team
US Leadership Team
OTC leaders in markets, Commercial Leads, GMs (Country, HUB and Cluster in IM)
Portfolio Management, Pipeline Management, R&D, TGO and other functions in both regions
External Stakeholders and Customers
Key Responsibilities
Develops, deploys and delivers OTC strategy aligned with global, Europe and International Market strategy
Defines focus and prioritize for investment in alignment with regions and markets, to increase profit growth through scaling best practice, and to build capability of the Consumer Health organization
Leads and shapes the future by applying deep understanding and expertise of industry and market insights that form short and long-term strategies
Facilitates the understanding of regulatory and legal environment, manages reputation, risks and opportunities in order to continue maintaining our strong commitment to compliance
Fosters innovative practices to create new growth, leveraging Teva’s OTC portfolio to customers, with new or existing propositions
Delivers business growth by striking the right balance between global, region and country strategy, decision making and actions
Understands and ensures compliance with global policies, processes and governance
Creates high performance culture by increasing levels of employee engagement and enablement
The OTC head is responsible to build org. & people capabilities alongside creating a supporting & engaging environment
Fosters a high-performing organisation with a focus on performance-driven culture
Builds a culture of Inclusion & collaboration
Supports Pivotal talent to ensure right capabilities are in place to execute Regional plans
Role models the “One Teva” principle
Your Experience & Qualifications
A minimum of 10 years of Marketing experience required, including leading multiple brands and at least 5 years in a senior commercial leadership position.
Broad experience across multiple Commercial functions (e.g. – Sales, Marketing, Digital, Strategic Projects, BD, Operations & Analytics, Patient Services, Market Access).
A minimum of bachelor's degree in life or medical sciences, business or equivalent is preferred.
Proven track record in senior commercially driven roles and demonstrated delivery across markets in consumer healthcare
OTC Portfolio & domain expertise with an external focus & understanding of global environment (consumers, shoppers, customers, patients and trends)
Demonstrate outstanding leadership capabilities and people management skills (including leading leaders) and building an inclusive and diverse working environment
Demonstrated success in working in a complex, fast-paced matrix environment in a multi-national company, experience in pharmaceuticals industry is required
Successfully applied business acumen, spanning multiple functions and a track record of driving innovation and growth
Experience creating and executing complex strategic plans in a global matrix environment
Great understanding of financials (P&L, accruals, balance sheet, capital investment, forecasting and supply chain))
Ability to effectively communicate strategies and decisions and the ability to turn a strategy into an executable plan
Strong Collaboration skills and Influencing Leadership: The ability to influence and manage change in complex organizational structures
Experience with building/managing high performing teams and shows strong capability of managing and decision making in matrix environment
Track record of leading people through organizational transformation/change, building talent and developing organizational capabilities
A successful track record of managing business transformation and ability to fully embrace the changes that the company aims to make for its future
