The opportunity

The candidate will be a seasoned finance professional, with sound business judgment, knowledge of pharmaceutical markets, and a proven track record of performance. He/she will be operationally involved and attuned to the urgency, pace and energy of the organization.

He/she will be a professional with proven analytical skills and the ability to manage financial tasks in the most efficient and effective way. He/she has a good understanding of planning & reporting systems and feels the urge to improve systems & processes. He/she will contribute to team efforts by successfully performing tasks that have been allocated, keeping everyone informed of progress.

How you’ll spend your day

Responsibilities:

• Support the budget planning process of Teva US Innovative Medicines growing business ($3b portfolio, over $0.5b spend base) – annual operating plan, long range plan, periodical estimates, and actual versus plan analysis.

• Support the US commercial brand teams with: budget / FTE planning & analysis, quarter/month end reporting, month end close, budget presentations and ad-hoc requests.

• Collaborate with accounting department on month-end accruals.

• Assist with periodic operating review meetings, including the preparation of presentation materials.

• Conduct ROI/NPV analysis for marketing investment decisions.

• Identify procurement savings and provide transparency on budget efficiencies.

Your experience and qualifications

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years experience in finance and/or budget planning.

• Minimum of undergraduate degree in Finance or Accounting or equivalent.

• Solid accounting or finance analytical background.

• Preferred: budget/P&L management for a growing product or business line.

• Preferred: over 2 years relevant pharmaceutical experience.

Skills

• Ability to work well in a fast pace changing environment and deliver under pressure.

• Excellent interpersonal skills; communication skills; sensitive to different cultures and backgrounds, positive attitude.

• Organized, flexible and self-motivated personality.

• Financial Systems: SAP ERP preferred; other systems: Hyperion planning / TM1 / BPC / Anaplan etc.
